Register on teacheo.com is free for teachers and students.
Using teacheo.com is free for students which pay their teacher directly for their lesson, by PayPal or by credit teacheo, either by cash, check, etc. ..
The teacher can use teacheo for free to organize lessons with the contacts he had invited. If he wants to find new students, publish listings and organize lessons with all users, he must apply for validation and subscribe to a monthly subscription fee of 9.90 euros.
2- How to create an account on teacheo.com ?
Click on "Sign-up" on the homepage.
Choose your type of registration and fill in the form. You will receive a confirmation email and must click on a link to activate your account.
3- I have not received my activation email, what can I do ?
If you have not received your activation email, please write to email@example.com.
4- My personal information kept in confidence ?
According to Article 34 of the french law "Information and Freedom" of 6 January 1978, you have at any time, the right to access, modify, rectify and delete data about yourself.
In no case teacheo.com not transmit your information to companies without your permission.
5- I forgot my password, how can I get it ?
Click on "Forgot your password" on the homepage.
Then just enter the email that you use on your account and we'll send your password.
6- How do I change my password ?
A box "Change my password" accessible from "My Informations" in "My Profil" allows you to change your password.
7- I do not receive any message of teacheo.com on my inbox, what can I do ?
Uncheck the box "I agree to receive emails of Teacheo and its partners" in "My Informations" in "My Profil".
8- How to invite a friend to teacheo.com ?
You can invite your friends to join you on teacheo.com in "Invite your friends" on your home page.
9- Can I report a person or a message ?
Whether for aggressive, advertising or simply false information, you can report a person or a message.
Click on "Report" and enter the reason.
10- What is parental control ?
Parental control is made between an adult and the person under 18 he has registered.
It define the rights that may have a person under 18 on its lessons, contacts and payments.
By sign up a minor, three possibilities :
- Create one account for both the student and the parent : you have the same account. You define a parental code for you only to manage buying credits and making payments.
- Create a separate account for parental control : it will allow you to manage buying credits and making payments separately. You have your own account and you can manage easily the account(s) of minor(s).
- Use an existing parental control account : you already have an account on teacheo.com and want to manage the account of a minor. 11- How can I connect to the account of my child ?
You can easily access the account of the persons under 18 associated to your account.
Go to "My Parental Control" in "My Profil" then log on by clicking on "Log in on his account".
12- What are the rights of a person under 18 on teacheo.com ?
If a minor wishes to know his rights, it must ask the person which his account is attached on teacheo.com. This person define the rights of the minor.
13- Can I defer or cancel a lesson ?
Click on "Joining a lesson" in "Lesson". Two links makes it possible to defer a lesson (Defer lesson) or cancel (Cancel lesson).
Student or teacher can refuse.
14- Is there a particular model of webcam for Eclass ?
All webcams are ok with the Eclass.
15- I can not connect to the Eclass, what can I do ?
1) Make sure you do not have a firewall that blocks the connection to the Eclass making the Connection Test.
2) You must have the latest version of Flash, if this it's not, you must download the latest version to access the Eclass.
3) Please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org if there is a problem.
16- I had a problem of disconnection during a lesson, what about the billing ?
If you have been disconnected, the lesson will automatically made a break. This time is not charged.
17- Can I review a past lesson ?
Yes, you will find the link "Reviewing a lesson" in "Lesson".
18- Are there any minimum and maximum duration of lesson ?
Teachers and students define themselves availability and organizing their lessons.
They have no time constraint.
19- How can I pay on teacheo.com ?
Teacheo.com offers 2 modes of payment : payment by your teacheo account or by Paypal.
(For payments by check or cash, users organize themselves as they wish).
20- If I'm not agree with a payment, what can I do ?
In "My Payments" in "My Profil", various actions can be implemented if you disagree with a payment.
You can contest the payment, request an arrangement with the other party or a contentious issue.
Students : in the organization of a lesson, a price is required. It's the price that you consider correct for the lesson (matter, level, duration). The teacher asked you a lesson is free to accept or not this price. 21- Payments on teacheo.com are secure ?
Using Paypal for the settlement of the lessons guarantees complete security.
Paypal handles the encryption and protection of your card number once and for all.
22- What is the minimum duration commitment for subscriptions to teacheo.com ?
After the first month subscription, you are free to cancel whenever you want within one month's notice on the anniversary of your subscription.
23- How are teachers recruited on teacheo.com ?
Teachers on teacheo.com are audited by the audit team of teacheo.com.
Teachers, graduates or students from leading schools of business or engineering, teacheo.com allows them to develop their skills, and students to know that these qualifications have been verified.
The unaudited teachers can give lessons to students that they have invited on teacheo, but can not publish listings or made a lesson with students they did not know before.
24- Why request an audit ?
The audit allows the teacher to validate their qualifications by the audit team of teacheo.com.
Before being checked, the teacher can only give lessons to his contacts.
Once the teacher is verified, it may give lessons to any user.
25- Why do teachers have to add skills ?
Teachers add skills so that their detailed description is as complete as possible and that students know immediately what he is able to teach.
Students visiting their profile will make their choice in the best conditions.

27- Teachers have pay slips of teacheo.com ?
Teacheo.com is a web platform for exchanging and sharing knowledge between teachers and students. Teacheo.com is not an intermediary. Teachers set their own rates and availability. They are not employees of teacheo.com and will not have salary slips of teacheo.com.
28- When and by whom are paid teachers ?
Teacheo.com has set up a payment system allowing students to pay their teacher once the lesson is closed.
29- How do I read my schedule and complete my availabilities ?
The calendar is divided into 7 columns corresponding to 7 days a week and 16 lines from 8 am to midnight.
"Grey" boxes correspond to your unavailabilities. "Green" boxes correspond to your availabilities to give or receive lesson. "Orange boxes" correspond to the lessons you have planned during the week.
By default, your planning has been available every day and every hour of the week.
To make unavailable at any given time of day, simply click on the boxes corresponding to your time of unavailability. They then go from green to grey. Remember to click on Validate to update.
To make unavailable all day, click on "All Day".
To make unavailable the entire week, click on "All time."
30- How read the time zone ?
The time zone that appears is the gap that exists between your time and that of the user.
